Unnoticed, he glances at the drawer from which he had just removed the spoon. The White Owl looks at him with penetrating eyes. Ah yes! After all, Klara has her favorite. He replaces the spoon and hands it to the girl, which brings a wide smile to her face. And we didn’t tell you that drawer knobs know how to do it!

A child’s room is an absolutely magical place. This is where family bonds are built, children’s problems are solved and they laugh until they’re out of breath, looking for tickles. Ah those parents, for everything they can find an explanation. The girl lets the subject go, but the man, recounting the incident to his wife, stresses the need to think about new cabinet knobs. Zosia will one day finally figure out that she was supposed to be a boy.
